Are you a school or district administrator interested in bringing a ThoughtSTEM after-school program to your school?
How We Work with Schools
We work with every school on a case-by-case basis to provide the best services to the school and parents. Sometimes schools are able to bring our teachers in with government grants; other times, schools partially subsidize the cost of our programs for parents. More often, schools invite us to offer our services to parents and their students at a small fee for room usage.
We are happy to send our teachers to school sites across the Greater San Diego area! But depending on your location and distance from our other programs in San Diego, we may distribute a call for local teachers, substitutes, and school employees who are interested in teaching a computing course (no experience required). We have years of experience training K–12 teachers in how to teach our computer science curriculum.
We will work with your school, PTA, or PTO to promote the program, and let parents know about the new opportunity. Usually, we manage payments and registrations for our after-school programs internally. However, we are able to work with schools and districts who manage their own after-school program registrations as well.
